Terms of Service

1. Who we are and these terms

Intercrawl, at intercrawl.com, is operated by Searithm Technology (registration no. 202603272097 (MA0353343-T)), a business registered in Malaysia (“we”, “us”). These terms apply to anyone who uses Intercrawl. By creating an account or using Intercrawl, you agree to them. If you use Intercrawl for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it, and “you” then means that organisation.
You must be at least 18 to create an account.

2. The free scan

The free scan needs no account. Only scan sites you own or are allowed to test. Intercrawl fetches each page as a visitor would and as Googlebot, GPTBot and ClaudeBot would request it, within the limits shown on the site: up to 100 pages per scan and one scan per site per day. Every request carries the header X-Intercrawl-Scan: 1, so site owners can recognise it.

3. Your account

Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at hello@intercrawl.com if you think someone else has used your account. API tokens give access to Intercrawl on your behalf: keep them secret, and revoke a token you no longer use. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. What Intercrawl does for your sites

Once you add a site and verify that you control it, Intercrawl can serve search engine and AI crawlers a rendered copy of its pages, check every day what each crawler receives, send the alerts you turn on, make reports, draw share cards, and prepare a crawler policy for your Cloudflare zone. It does these things on your instructions, which you give through your account, your installation and the settings you choose.
Intercrawl is built to fail open: if it cannot answer a crawler in time, or anything goes wrong on its side, your own page is served as it would be without Intercrawl. One install is an exception: with a Vercel routing rule, if Intercrawl cannot be reached at all, Vercel has no fallback and crawlers get an error until it is back (the help centre says so). Visitors to your site are never sent a rendered copy.

5. Your responsibilities for your sites

Add only sites you own or control. You are responsible for your sites, their content, their robots.txt and the law that applies to them, including making sure that what crawlers are served is your own page and not content meant to mislead them.
Some installs make changes in your own accounts at Vercel or Cloudflare with your approval: a routing rule in a Vercel project, a Worker and its routes on a Cloudflare zone, or a firewall rule and Pay Per Crawl settings on a Cloudflare zone. Those accounts and changes stay yours. Where Intercrawl cannot remove a change itself, the Sites page and the help centre show how to remove it, and until you do, Intercrawl serves your own pages through it.

6. Services of other companies

Your Vercel and Cloudflare accounts, your DNS provider and your hosting are governed by those companies’ own terms. Payments for crawler access under Cloudflare’s Pay Per Crawl are collected by Cloudflare, never by Intercrawl. We are not responsible for services we do not operate.

7. Trial, free use and paid plans

A free 14-day trial starts when you add your first site. No card is needed and nothing is charged during the trial. Until paid plans open, Intercrawl stays free to use after the trial. Paid plans, their prices in US dollars and their billing terms will be shown to you before you are asked to pay, and you will not be charged without agreeing to them.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Intercrawl to scan or serve sites you have no right to, to overload or attack any site or Intercrawl itself, to get around its limits or security, to serve crawlers content that differs from what your visitors see in order to deceive them, or to collect other people’s personal data. Do not create accounts by automated means, and do not resell access to Intercrawl without our written agreement.

9. What results mean

Results describe what Intercrawl observed when it fetched your pages, on the date shown. Intercrawl fetches pages itself using each crawler’s user agent, and real crawlers can be treated differently by your site, CDN or firewall. Intercrawl does not promise any search ranking, indexing or citation by any search engine or AI service.

10. Your sites and data

You keep all rights to your sites and their content. You allow us to fetch, render, store and process the pages and data needed to provide Intercrawl to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Where your sites or the requests Intercrawl handles for them contain personal data, we process it on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms.

11. Intercrawl’s software

Intercrawl, its software and its content belong to us. The install files we publish are yours to use, copy and adapt to install Intercrawl on your own sites while you use Intercrawl. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

12. Availability and changes

We work to keep Intercrawl available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, suspend or stop features, and we will tell account holders in advance of changes that take away something they rely on, where we reasonably can.

13. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in its settings, and remove Intercrawl from a site at any time: your site keeps working, and its own pages are served to crawlers as before. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonable. What happens to your data then is described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Liability

Intercrawl is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Intercrawl in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
You are responsible for claims made against us that arise from your sites’ content or from your breach of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email or in Intercrawl before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
